ANTI DIMS

Can anybody Help?

In 1939 some members of the Erith Borough Council Civil Defence Department formed a Concert Party and called themselves the Anti- Dims. They performed all over the area during the war years and some people I know have fond memories of the group.

It was run by a man named Ken Firmin, a local dance band leader. He is long deceased.

Mr.Churchill, who was member of the group from it's formation until his call up, is anxious to hear from any surviving members of the group.
